I love this store, there are so few like it in Burlington. The furniture and decor are always current and beautifully chosen. I love that whenever I go in, there is always something new to either inspire my clients or to put in my own house. Service and knowledge of the staff is wonderful. If they only served wine.....sigh!

We worked with Interior Design House on a few occasions and were extremely satisfied. The quality of all their products is very good and they will definitely work within your budget. Marni is amazing and is able to put ideas together for any room very quickly, which allowed us to have a complete picture before purchasing anything. All the staff are very professional and knowledgable and we will definitely work with them for future projects.

As a new mom it was easy to feel overwhelmed by the thought of planning rooms for my children - stylish bedroom furniture is expensive! I was looking for quality furniture that would last through to their adolescent years, but with twin boys I didn't want to break the bank. My sister in law recommended IDH for their childrens furniture, and said it was a hidden gem. I was able to purchase two Canadian made wood bedroom sets for my boys for less than the cost of one at a well-known big box retailer. An added bonus was the IDH delivery team (thanks Dennis!) who set everything up for me while my husband was at work.

I was referred to Interior Design House by a friend, when I was starting to decorate my new home in Oakville. When I first approached IDH, I found a fairly industrial looking building that looked as if it was only open to designers. Appearances can be deceiving! Upon entering the store I found myself stepping into a design oasis. So much to see that it took me a few walks around to feel like I had seen everything. Friendly staff helped me from feeling overwhelmed or intimidated, and with their help we worked to find the best solutions for my living and dining spaces. IDH is now my first stop when I am looking for something special for my home, or a unique gift for a friend.

My experiences with Marnie Warman have spanned a period of nearly 25 years. She and her team have worked on two different homes (one twice) and each time, my husband and I were more than pleased. Her seemingly innate ability to conceptualize our vision and bring it to life with her polished good taste and high skill level have consistently resulted in our happy satisfaction. When we moved out to Burlington from a condo in Toronto we had to put an entire house together. We've furnished most of our home from IDH over the past few years. When putting together our living room, we visited the store and picked out a sofa that we absolutely loved. Marnie and her associates pulled together an assortment of chairs, tables, lamps, art, and accessories that mixed in perfectly with our new sofa and with our existing furniture. They understood the aesthetic we were looking for, and created a stylish, comfortable space where we love to entertain. We've also had great success working with the designers to order in bedroom furniture, office furniture, and outdoor furniture from various suppliers. The absolute best, though, is the store done up for Christmas. Can't wait to see what's new this year!

We used Marnie's services to help us furnish and decorate our new home. Although we initially filled our new home with furniture and pictures (including art) from our prior house, we soon concluded that the look which we loved in our prior home was not a fit in our new home. The project to replace our furniture and pictures/art seemed overwhelming to us. Marnie and her team handled it all for us, and showed us options that met our taste and preserved some of our favorite items. Marnie and her team also helped us design and build a much more attractive and functional kitchen island. It all seemed straight forward until we learned that there was no floor tile under the old island, and that no more tile of the required type was available. To solve the problem, Marnie's team designed a border around the new island, in complimentary colors, resulting in a better look than if the desired floor tile had been available. We were very pleased with the advice and services of Marnie and her team.
